Mobile mechanic in Show Low

Show Low is the other half of our week. Ten to sixteen miles from the truck, which puts a jump a few dollars over the floor and keeps everything else honest.

10 to 16 miles from Lakeside. Prices are the floor. We set a fair number with you.

Show Low is where the highways meet: US 60 from Globe, SR 77 from Holbrook, and SR 260 from us. It is also where the long downhill from Pinetop-Lakeside ends, which is why our Show Low brake calls outnumber everything but batteries in the fall.

The Deuce of Clubs is lockouts and dead batteries in parking lots. Fool Hollow is boat trailers and the car that would not start after a weekend at the lake. Linden and the west side are cabin batteries and long gravel driveways.

We serve the shops here too: if we find something that needs a lift, we tell you which Show Low shop we would use and what the job should cost, and we write the diagnosis down so you walk in knowing.

Roads and what goes wrong on them

  • SR 260 grade into town Downhill brakes. Pads that were marginal at the top glaze by the bottom. If it smells hot at the light on the Deuce, call before the rotors warp.
  • US 60 toward Globe Long, remote, and no cell signal in stretches. Tell us the mile marker before you lose service; we will come to the pullout.
  • Deuce of Clubs lots Lockouts and batteries. Shaded lots stay frozen all day in January and cold-soak a parked car by lunch.
  • Fool Hollow and Linden roads Trailer bearings and flats. Graded roads to the lake are fine; the two-tracks past the campground are a walk-in.

Questions from Show Low

What is the mileage to Show Low?
Ten to sixteen miles from Lakeside depending on where in town. On a jump that is a few dollars over the floor; on flats, lockouts, and fuel it is the per-mile line on the pricing page.
Do you cover Linden and Fool Hollow?
Yes. Both are inside the Show Low radius. Send a pin for the lake and we come to the parking area.
My brakes are smoking after the hill from Pinetop. What now?
Pull into a lot, let them cool, and call. Do not keep braking down the Deuce. We check pads, rotors, and calipers on the spot and tell you if it is a drive-home or a repair today.
